UpdatesOn exists for one purpose: to help families share updates about someone they love. Use it for that. Don't use it to harass, deceive, harvest emails, run a business, distribute malware, or post content that's illegal where you or your readers live.

You keep ownership of the words and photos you post. By posting, you give us permission to host them and deliver them to your subscribers. That's it — we don't use them for training models, marketing, or anything else.

The admin link is the only way back to your page. We can't reset it for you. Save it somewhere you'll find it — bookmarks, a notes app, an email to yourself.

This is not a medical record. Don't use it as one. If you're sharing health information, share what you're comfortable with everyone on the link reading. If something on a page indicates someone is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.

If a page violates these terms or applicable law, we may disable it without notice. We try to reach out first when we can. Egregious abuse (spam, harassment, illegal content) gets immediate removal.

The service is provided as-is, free of charge. We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't guarantee uptime or that data won't be lost. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we're not liable for any damages arising from use of the service.

If we change these terms, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Material changes will also get a banner on the homepage for at least two weeks.
